Privacy Policy

Draft. This is a starting template written for CROSS PSA. Have a California attorney review it, including for the California Consumer Privacy Act, before launch. It is not legal advice.

This policy explains what information CROSS PSA collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email address, company name and contact details, and role.
  • Business data you enter: your customers’ names, addresses and contact details, service records, product applications, photos, signatures and invoices.
  • Billing information: handled by Stripe. We receive your plan, billing status and the last four digits of your card, never your full card number.
  • Location: with your permission, the app uses your phone’s location to show you on the map and estimate drive times. Your live location is not stored on our servers. Customer addresses are converted to map coordinates, which are stored with the property.
  • Technical information: basic device and app information and error logs used to keep the service working.

How we use information

To provide and support the service, process payments, send account emails (such as sign-in confirmations and billing notices), keep the service secure, and improve it. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your customers’ information for marketing.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run CROSS PSA, including Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage), Stripe (payments), Expo (app delivery), Apple and Google (maps and app distribution). They process information only on our behalf.

Your business’s customers

For the customer data you enter, your business decides what is collected and how it is used, and we process it on your behalf. Your customers should contact your business with privacy requests, and we will help you respond.

Retention

We keep account and business data while your subscription is active and for a limited period afterward so you can renew or export it, then delete it unless the law requires us to keep it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under California law, you may have the right to know, access, correct or delete your personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, email us.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, and each company’s data is isolated so other companies cannot access it. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your sign-in details private.

Children

CROSS PSA is a business tool and is not intended for children under 16.

Changes and contact

We will post updates here and notify account admins of significant changes. Questions: email us.
